We are selling a beautiful 200 square meter/3 bedroom apartment overlooking Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Located at the quiet end of the beach (Posto 6), protected from the prevailing winds by Copacabana Fort, it has a panoramic view of four kilometers of white sand beach, the Sugarloaf, mountains behind Niteroi, and islands in the open Atlantic Ocean. The master bedroom with queen-size bed has its own bathroom, a second bedroom has twin beds, and the third bedroom has been converted into an office with a view of the Sugarloaf and far end of Copacabana beach from the desk. There were originally four bedrooms, but one was converted into a dining area that is now part of a spacious living room that includes an entertainment area with two couches, two arm chairs, and two coffee tables. Part of the same living area is a round table facing the windows and a second conversation area with couch and coffee tables and space for additional chairs.
The flooring is parquet made from solid honey-colored sucupira hardwood, except in the bathrooms, kitchen, laundry area and maid's quarters that are white ceramic tile.
The apartment comes with a parking space and two racks for stand-up paddleboards in the garage. All rooms except the kitchen and laundry have air conditioning ("split" except in a maid's bedroom at the back of the apartment that we use for guests). There are multi-speed ceiling fans in all rooms except the kitchen and laundry area.
The building (Cruzeiro do Sul) is highly secure, and is located between Rua Julio de Castilho and Rua Rainha Elizabeth.. Only the four doormen can let a resident, guest, or delivery person into the building and there is a doorman on duty 24/7/365. Guests and deliveries must be authorized by the internal telephone system that links all apartments and the doorman.
We prefer to sell fully furnished. with the exception of the oriental rugs and some of the paintings. A 40" Samsung smart TV, six Panasonic portable telephones, two 27" computer monitors on a stand, multi-function printer, filing cabinets and router in the office are included in the sale, but not the two laptops visible in photos of the office. Price: US$750,000 or the equivalent in Brazilian reais (BRL) at the time of sale.
